What is Cockfighting?
Cockfighting is a traditional event deeply rooted in Myanmar culture. Two roosters fight each other, and you bet on which one will win. Long popular at local festivals, you can now watch these fights live from home through the yg9 platform.
yg9 streams cockfights live so you can watch and bet from anywhere on your phone or computer. You can deposit using KBZPay, Wave Money, AYA Pay, CB Pay, or Bank Transfer, with a minimum of just 5,000 Ks.
Cockfighting formats available at yg9
Different fight formats come with different ways to bet. Pick the format you like and jump in.
Traditional Cockfighting
Two roosters fight naturally. The win/loss outcome is straightforward, making this the most popular format for bettors.
Timed Fight Format
The better rooster is judged within a set time limit. Results come out fast, so it suits players who don't have much time to spare.
Live Stream Cockfighting
Watch the live broadcast and bet in real time. You can lock in your stake before the fight starts, then watch and decide as it unfolds.
Meron / Wala Betting
Choose Meron (red) or Wala (blue) and place your bet on that side. You can also pick Jackpot or Draw for a higher payout.
Cockfighting Parlay
Combine multiple fights into one bet. The harder the combination, the higher the payout. Win it all and you walk away with much bigger returns.
Quick Bet Format
Players jump straight into the next fight as soon as the previous one ends. Good for those who don't like waiting around for results.

Strategies Cockfighting Players Should Know
Having a strategy for any game makes it more enjoyable and helps you play responsibly.
Set a Budget
Decide how much you are willing to spend before you start playing, and stick to that limit. Managing your money well is the most important step to being able to play long-term.
Watch Before the Match Starts
Open the Live Stream and observe both roosters during the warm-up. Check each rooster's condition and alertness, then make your call before placing your bet.
Compare the Odds
Meron and Wala odds vary from match to match. Rather than always backing the favourite, picking the side with better odds gives you a higher chance of profit over time.
Don't Let Emotions Drive Your Decisions
When you're on a losing streak, chasing losses by increasing your stakes can make things worse financially. Stick to the limits you've set.
